Thank you for your interest in becoming a sponsor of the Cumberland Valley Band Boosters.  We offer individuals and businesses opportunities of sponsorship.  The mission for the CVHS Marching Band, consisting of both the outdoor ensemble and indoor winter color guard and drum line programs is an educational, year-long arts program dedicated to providing the youth of our high school and the community with the means to develop life skills, musical skills, and performance skills.  We also strive to build character and foster teamwork while cultivating the talents of tomorrow’s leaders.  We raise money to purchase musical instruments and pay for repairs, marching uniforms repairs, transportation to performances and competitions, instruction costs, and much more.

 

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3), tax deductible, band booster organization founded in 1997.  We have an excellent group of board members and booster members who are dedicated to supporting our band students in every way.  We rely on our Booster volunteers, area organizations, businesses and individuals to work together to achieve our goals.

 

We need you to help our band raise operational funds. Each year, we organize fundraisers with the Director and with school administration approval to support the annual budget for the band program and to support expenses.  However, we have many other financial responsibilities to the band program, such as providing additional instructional opportunities for students and transporting the 120-member band and all equipment to competitions and outside functions.  We also purchase and maintain those instruments that are too expensive for personal ownership. Your sponsorship helps to make band participation accessible to all students.
